PANArt offers licences for instrument builders

PANArt was recently awarded a patent in Europe and the U.S.A. covering the manufacturing method of the Pang material (nitrided sheet steel) for building its instruments Hang and Gubal. Now PANArt decided to offer a licence to other instrument builders to use this method for their own instruments. This was published yesterday on PANArt’s website.

  1. I have seen your product of the “Hang” being played in Smith Street, Fitzroy, Victoria, Australia today and am totally fascinated by your instrument. Upon listening to it being played (and being totally enthralled with the unique sound of it) I asked the street busker who was playing it (having donated an appropriate amount for this entertaining musical demonstration of your wonderful instrument) as to where he he got it from and his answer was that it was a Swiss instrument. I believe that his command of the english langquage was somewhat limited but he certainly appeared to have a very strong Swiss (with a German dialect?)accent. After that encounter I am very keen to acquire one for myself.
    Best regards,
    Klaus

  2. I’m sorry that I hadn’t completed the thrust of my enquiry regarding my previous “Comment” but I certainly have a great deal of interest in the licence application for instrument builders of your product.

    Cheers,
    Klaus.
